So. How do I get myself productive?

The main causes of block are stress, sickness, and business. Guess what? Every last cause has its anti.
My first suggestion is to try and identify exactly what it is blocking you. If it's just that you seriously can't think anything up right now, you need to give your imagination a brief break or try writing freestyle if it's that urgent of a need.
The next suggestion is to try journalling. Write about why you're stressed, how sick you are, that sort of thing. If you can get everything in that arena out, you might just be able to get around the block, too. You can also try writing descriptive paragraphs or prompts in your journal.
I'm also going to suggest brainstorming. Or going out and seeing new things. The world is a fascinating place. Sometimes you just need to see something new or experience something different to find that little spark of inspiration. Sometimes you need another person to give you an idea-one that you can expand upon and run with.
Another idea is to set yourself a goal and find a buddy. Find a person or three who will egg you on while going for the same goal yourself; a team, or a competition, of sorts. Kind of like NaNoWriMo (nanowrimo.org), which is an incredibly useful challenge to get off a block.
In the end, all you need to do is motivate yourself. I vote that you try to write something about five hundred words long today... you'll get cookies!
