Why
do I love you?
Why
do I want you so?
Why
do visions of you plague me
do you appear in my dreams?

Why
does love
always fall apart for me?
Why
can't I just be happy
just once?

Maybe
I should ask you
maybe
you'd be different
but who's to say
I'd be any different
to you?

Why do I even care?
Why don't I just give up?
I've thought about it
so many times
why can't I go through with it?

Perhaps this time
I really am done with love-
but why
did it have to be this way?

The boy I was dating and I broke up last night... I'm not too heartbroken over it but this was all I could think of to write for today. Perhaps we will get back together later on-it was the kind of breakup where that is entirely likely-but in the meantime, I'll be chasing the boy I've always wanted but never quite had... wish me luck.
