Love

Love is the demon
Which eats away
At our very souls.

Love is the demon
Which comes to
Destroy us
With everlasting obsession.

Love is the monster
Which breaks our hearts
Turns us bitter
Into murderers;
Broken hearts
Make us break more.

Love is a weakness
A weakness we all must face;
Love is that
Which makes every man
Break.

Love is
Destructive
Tormenting
Painful
Angering
Depressing.

Love is something
I'm afraid I may
Soon come to feel
For you.
