Prompt: Longing

Just a little thing before I head off to school (gulp).

Longing

I long for you;
Your touch
The feel of your hands
As they move along
The delicate skin;

The feel of safety
Wrapped securely in your arms;
You are my demon
Of temptation.

I long for you;
Yet you are gone-
You have left me
Once again
To wither away

Dead in the mines
Dead in the fields
Dead anywhere I should go
For without you,
I am dead inside;

So tempt me,
Fill me with longing,
My demon,
My temptation,
All I can do
Is wish I could fight-

But the simple fact is
I long for you;
And until I am with you again
That longing
Will never end.
