If I Die

If I die
Know that I die with honour.

If I die
Know that I die with pride.

If I die
Know that I still love you.

If I die
Know that I died
Trying to defend
What is right.

To anyone who may read this now or in the years to come: I am simply a girl trying to do what is best for my friends. Sometimes that puts me at great risks. But I would rather risk my life than my friends. I would rather lose my life completely than lose myself by not doing what is right by my friends before what is right by me.

I would rather have a soul and be beyond the grave

Than to be missing one
And still alive
In a weak body
Full of memories.

Please forgive me
All who I love
And who love me;
This is the path I chose
This is my path
Down it I shall go.

Little Girl

Don't really have the energy for a full length post today, really burnt out from a lot going on.

Sorry guys, I haven't posted in a couple of days and this is because of various things; Christmas dinners and then crap that went down with friends.

Anyway, this is a prompt.

Pain and abuse.

You've hurt so bad
I don't know if you can fully heal;

I will bring you out
Of the darkness.

Saving you
Is the only thing
I feel I can do.

What makes a writer?

I've gone over this before, but I was reading a thread on Forward Motion earlier and it's been a while, so I felt like writing about this topic.

What makes a writer in my mind is someone who loves to write. Someone who can't help themselves; they just need to do it like most people need to breath. Writing is a passion, writing is a love; when the going gets tough we still keep going. Writers love to do what they do, and are willing to work at it
