I only hit 90K last night as I was supernaturally tired, but I have long days and nights ahead of me in which I can write quite a lot, so I am not worried about hitting my goal. At this moment in time I'm ahead of schedule for four hundred thousand words, the schedule that I worked out, and if everything goes well I will continue to be ahead of schedule.
The Nanowrimo site has been down now longer than I have ever known it to be down before during Nano season, and I can only hope that it is restored promptly. The regional Nanowrimo chat that my region runs has also been shut down for a few days, and it's killing me, making it much harder for me to inspire myself.
But I'm still struggling through the writing, and today I willl be struggling to write thirty thousand words and to make up for all the partying and slacking that I've done in the last couple of days. Wish me luck and hope my wrist doesn't break.
For those of you who are also struggling because there is no way to access Nanowrimo.org, I feel your pain and I really and truly understand. I hope that you will find it in you to pull through this even without word wars-or that you have some Nanoers on MSN that you can word war with.
Hopefully by the time this entry goes live in just a few short hours the site has been fixed. If not, there will be another long day ahead of us all tomorrow. You can do it-just write fifteen hundred words, it's a good base level for the night, you may not be inspired but if you can just get through that you should still be right on target to hit 50K.
Congratulations to anyone who broke the 15K boundary, you are well on your way to where you need to be at the end of this month and you have already accomplished something great.
