Introspective Dear Diary
May 3rd 2010 12:43
Your goal during this workshop is to write a diary entry for each day of the week to your chosen word count goal. Once a week try writing an introspective journal entry. Start it with a favourite quote of the character's or a deep thought, and let them tell you why the quote or thought interests them and what they think about it.
Let them tell you their story, don't try to tell it for them.
During this workshop I will share different journaling techniques which might work for your character-or you. Use this workshop as an opportunity to experiment with different journaling styles.

I'm really enjoying reading your responses to this exercise
Good luck with the quotes... some characters are harder to find one for than others... and remember that your character might not look to the same people for wisdom that you do.
