If I told you...

If I told you I love you,
If I told you I hate myself,
If I told you everything I am thinking,
Would you believe it?

If you read these tear-stained pages,
Would you wish,
You had let me explain?
Would you wish,
You had not made that vow?
Or are you truly happy now?
That no matter
The truth
You cannot come back?

I love you;
All the blood and tears
I shed each night
Is proof enough of that
See me lying here,
Might as well be dead;
Are you happy now?

Because I'm not.
