I Wrote A Novel, Now What?
December 12th 2009 17:49
This is part of my long credits post. I've decided to divide it into two to make my life easier because I'm in a bit of a rush to get out of the house and see some friends from out of town.
Nano's I Wrote A Novel, Now What? (clicky) page includes a pretty comprehensive list of year-round challenges. It's only missing two or three, which I will link to in the second half of this post.
For now I would like to thank all of the people who have made it possible for me to write as much as I have during the last month. I would like to thank all the lovely folks who make up the Toronto Nano experience. Join us sometime at The ToNano Site (clicky) and jump into the chatroom. Activity tends to drop throughout the year, but there are usually at least a couple people in there to say hi.
I would like to thank Kateness and Crimsonblood, who may or may not be reading this, inspirations to the max with their 1, 000, 000 word counts, and good friends of mine. I would also like to thank Errol, the moderator of the ToNano website, even though I don't like him much, for all the epic coding and moderating he does.
I would like to thank Alleycat34 of the Nanowrimo forums for organizing the city word war (did I mention that Toronto kicked London's arse?) and for being like a mamawrimo to me and the other young wrimos. I am also grateful for the chocolate almonds.
I would also like to thank you guys, my readers, who have patiently dealt with my lack of posts over the last couple of weeks. I would like to thank you for your time, your energy, and most of all your comments. The last week or so I've been a bit flaky but I am under a lot of stress between school, writing, and family obligations.
That's all for now... thank you guys for reading it and for making it possible for me to achieve as much as I had. Either later tonight or tomorrow you'll get the second half of the credits, and on Monday I'm going to start a new blogging schedule.
