Oh. My. Gods. This came in my email today and now I refuse to sleep because I'm so hyper. My first ever publication! It's nothing big... it's not even paid... but I don't care... it's a foot in the door and it counts as a publishing credential so there.
This is proof that you CAN do it. You just need to try. Repeatedly. Often. And one day you will win.
If you have the talent and the determination. You will be published. You may not 'make it' but I think you can.
And I'm just hoping that this is the first of many good events in my writing career...

Thankies! MoonTownCafe... I'd like to take a look at that one. (I have a soft spot for names with 'moon' in them...)
I'm really happy about this and I'm really really hopeful that I might actually get a big break before I'm eighteen. I'd love to be able to survive off of my writing at a young age. It's a bit of a pipe dream, but I am a dreamer.
