I am Not a Perfect Person
April 13th 2010 12:05
I am not a perfect person.
Sometimes, I get angry and say things without thinking.
Sometimes, I have trouble getting out of bed for school.
Sometimes, I have trouble writing a blog post five days a week.
Sometimes, I get myself into trouble saying the wrong thing.
Sometimes, I make mistakes in my personal life.
Sometimes, my writing isn't all that great.
But I am doing the best I can, I am constantly learning, and I enjoy being who I am. I enjoy writing this blog, I enjoy writing my books, I enjoy reading other blogs and other people's books. I like being who I am. I like being a writer. I love reaching out to other writers.
I want to help other writers with this blog. I want to befriend other writers and other bloggers, and to have meaningful relationships with these people. I want to know my readers.
I want to hear your voices. I want to know what you think would be useful, what you find interesting.
This blog belongs to you as well as to me. Without readers, a blog has no life. I want to have life here. I want to have a community here. I've got a lot of big plans for this blog, and I want you along for the journey. I want your ideas, your advice. I want you to help me create the future of this blog.
As part of this, when I create my personal website, I will begin working on a newsletter to go with this blog. I'm looking for people who can help me format a newsletter, and I am hoping to get some articles from other writers to incorporate in the newsletter. If you're interested, send me an email at diannalgunn@gmail.com with ideas about what you want to do.
