Exhaustion
December 5th 2009 17:44
I'm sorry to all of my loyal readers for not having posted in a couple of days. Those of you who know me in other places will know that I haven't really been on forums or much of anything. I think I'm just suffering from story exhaustion, and the struggle to get caught up on school. So for the next few days posts are likely to be short.
Right now I'm in the process of working something out with Erin, one of the lovely mods who runs WriYe (click here), something along the lines of a one month Dear Diary challenge. This would involve weekly threads and I would be posting prompts and ideas for diary posts during the month. It's either going to happen in May or June, from the looks of it.
I'm also hanging out with all the people I didn't see last month and catching up with them.
When the 'I Wrote a Novel, Now What' page goes up on the Nanowrimo site I'll work out my credits post and start archiving stuff. In the meantime, I'm starting planning 2010, both in my non-writing life, in my noveling life, and in my blogging life. I hope to do a three or four day workshop once a month, with the aim of you getting to know your characters better, your world, and your storyline, and then being able to edit your Nanovel. After that we'll start planning for another one.
Expect a longer and probably better post from me tomorrow.
Enjoy your weekend, guys.

Sounds like you've been pretty busy and have been accomplishing a lot. No wonder you're suffering from story exhaustion. I'm sure everyone will understand if your posts are short while you get all these things worked out.
Best of luck to you in all your endeavors!
