Editing Update: Jihad

So today I realized I'm done with Moonshadow's Guardian. Meaning it's time to pay more attention to my other works. I am setting myself a new goal, to finish a piece of fiction writing every day until school starts.
Why? Because I'm slightly nuts. Also, because it gives me something to actually edit. I'm not talking 'finish one of my novels everyday' here. I'm talking finish something. A short story. A novel, sure, whatever. I've got a few short stories stashed away that I can edit and then post, since they're not going anywhere.
In the meanwhile, I've started on my third version of Jihad.
Jihad is a book about a girl who gets hit by a car and turned into a half dragon. There are those who would kill a half dragon at any cost, to demoralize the dragon god's people. (Since the half dragons are like their saviors, in essence.)
She travels with a priestess to a large city, where she goes to live in the temple. After an assassination attempt by the other god's forces, a holy war is declared between Dracon and his allies and a mysterious woman and hers.
Anyway, I wrote part of it once, decided it was going to quickly and that I didn't like it, wrote it all over again, decided I didn't like it that way either and that it was way too quick, and I'm now writing it a third time. Which I guess counts as editing. So there you have it.
