OK guys, Of Mice And Men is still under copyright and not public domain. Because of this, I'm not going to be critiquing the first chapter, because it isn't online. I'm working away at the workshop exercises and getting quite a ways, though it's mostly only applicable to fantasy; I'm trying to find a way to work around this, but never having written outside of my genre, I'm not doing a great job.
Of course, if anybody wants to do the six weeks of writing without the planning, I don't mind that too much. In fact, that's just fine.
