AugNoWriMo

Yes folks, it's time for me to go crazy again.
Those of you who have been with me for the last year or more (almost 2 years for a couple of you, which is how long I've been blogging) will probably remember (or maybe not) that last year I decided to jump into this crazy endeavour.
AugNoWriMo is basically Nanowrimo-National Novel Writing Month-with a few key differences:
1. You can work on something you've already started writing
2. You can set your own goals
3. It's in August.
This is great for those of us who don't want to write the full 50K, or who want to be able to legitimately set our goal for more, people in Australia who aren't enjoying the winter weather and want to be inside ANYWAY, and people up North like me who can't stand the summer.
Last year I wrote a book called East Wind Road in a matter of seven or eight days. Some of it was astonishingly good, but looking back on it, a chunk was absolutely ridiculous, and I've never bothered to revise it because it just wasn't something I was that into. I did have fun while writing it, and it was lots of blood and guts which is always a good thing.
This year I'm going for 100K, figuring if I can write three times that in November, why can't I write that much in August? Which means September and October my wrist is going to demand a vacation (heh), and I'll be nice enough to provide considering that I'm, well, moving in October and getting into school and all that, and will be too busy to write that much ANYWAY. Oh, and my insane 400K goal for November.
While casting around for ideas, I decided to write a book for which I know the basic storyline already and in a world I'm very comfortable in. I'm returning to the world of Moonshadow, this time to the country of Neval.
This is the Wastelands long before it was the Wastelands; back during the days of Eternia, Riana's first contract. Excerpts will NOT be going up, for the simple fact that they are severe spoilers when we finally get to Moonshadow's Guardian.
This is going to be a very sad story ending in a bit of a bloody mess, but it's one I'm quite passionate about and have been for quite some time. I wasn't going to make a book of it-was just going to leave it referenced in MG-but I've decided to go back and turn it into a novel... Eternia Falling.

This year there is also an anthology... short stories written in August by members of the community; I'm in-are you?

Fictional Worlds
I'm too stubborn not to keep on keeping on. Don't know about doing well, but I'd say I'm at least doing OK.
