I'm on a roll! I am so excited. I've been waiting for something good to come along in my world of writing for a very long time now. And it's starting. I'm going somewhere and I can feel it. It may be a long, hard road... but I've got my foot in the door and I've got the feeling that very soon I'm going to kick it wide open and maybe, just maybe, go somewhere great. What I wouldn't give for that.
I love writing. Writing is my work, my passion, one of my only joys. It is maybe one of the lights in my life. A bright one. And I have great hopes for my writing. This is something I can and will do.
I wish all you other writers luck-and myself. I'm going somewhere great, I think. My foot's just creeping in the door.
Maybe someday soon I'll get an actual poetry collection published... I would love that. It would be awesomeness.
So to all aspiring writers: there is hope. It can be done. I'm doing it.
