Until The Day I Die

Until the day I die,
I will always love you;
I know that now.

I cannot forget you
I cannot forget how you left
Nor the darkness that has engulfed me since.

There are many things about you
That I just can't forget
Like the day you left me
The day I first feared for your life...

The day I said what I thought to be
My last goodbye
But now I know
You're always by my side

Even if only in spirit,
Death cannot completely part us,
I love you,
And somehow I know
That you love me.

I've lost you
But someday I know

I will find you again
I will see you

And I will not rest
Searching for you
Until the day I stand at your grave
Or until the day I die.

This is how I feel about the death of my Mum...I know death can't part us from our loved ones. Thanks for sharing it. it's a strong poem.

Lidia,

Thanks This poem has everything to do with Daddy, but also with Jordan.

Jordan was a guy I fell head over heels in love with in 2006, and he completely disappeared. I haven't seen him in over six months. We were the best of friends, and then he vanished, and I've only seen him twice-both times he said he hated me.
