A Lack Of Drive

March 11th 2008 00:47
I haven't been writing much and to be honest a lot of my drive seems to have disappeared with a stressful weekend. I'm sick, lacking smokes, possibly being broken up with, among other things.

It sucks to be me. And when it sucks to be me... sometimes that's good for my writing, other times it's horrible. Right now it's horrible.

I have absolutely no drive to do anything at all right now. Even this is effort I'm barely willing to go through with.

Thoughts on how to change that?

go outside and enjoy the last bit of sunshine in the summer... play a little basketball. That always gets me feeling positive!

Hello I am hoping that you are doing better by now.. seeing as it is May that I am posting! Just came across this by accident..

Have you heard of Dragon Naturally Speaking?
It is a program that you speak into the microphone and it types for you.

It would really help with your Carpel Tunnel symptoms. I know because I have Fribromyalgia and I have the program.. my friend has carpel tunnel and I told her about it and she has it now too.
Most computer software retailers know about this program and it has been around for YEARS and is improved upon always.

One thing about it though is it takes a lot of memory as it remembers your speech patterns.

and whenever it is nasty weather outside.. sometimes it helps to have one of those "nature" sounds CDs and to meditate or even just lay down and visualize.
Good Luck
Laurie

Thanks for your comment.

Things have most certainly not gotten better but they seem to be going up right now.

My wrists are still swollen but they don't seem to hurt so it's all good.
