A Beautiful Tuesday?
November 24th 2009 21:31
Today is the Tuesday when the Nanowrimo team is trying to raise $100, 000 dollars. So, just some encouragement and please-type stuff.
I'm pretty sure that a lot of you guys who have been reading my blog over the last month are Nanowrimo participants, or considering Nanowrimo, or something like that. And if you've been reading my blog for more than a couple of days, you've seen my posts about how much Nanowrimo has helped me reach my writing goals and how much it has changed my life-all that good stuff.
I'm asking you now, if my blog has helped you with your writing in any way, shape, or form, and if you have even five dollars that you can spare, please sponsor me by clicking here and clicking on 'sponsor me'.
After my last call for donations someone donated $10. I just want to say thank you to this person. If you would like me to acknowledge your name and link to a website on my blog (I'm going to be doing a big thank you post on December first) then please let me know via email-you can find me at diannalgunn@gmail.com.
So now I'm sitting at twenty dollars in donations, which makes me a very happy person. I'm really hoping to make it to just twenty-five dollars, wanting only twenty more dollars, because if I can raise five more dollars, I will get the twenty-five dollars fundraising gift goodies.
Here's an extra incentive to sponsor me-if you sponsor me and send me an email, you will get all of what I've done so far for my poetry collection Bleed (which has been put on hold for November) AND a collection of Nanowrimo excerpts-one scene from Phoenix Falling, one scene from Snapshots and one scene from Fallen, the novel I am starting tonight.
For those of you who love to write and who want to help keep Nanowrimo, an event which has inspired thousands to write novels and come to really appreciate writing, now is the time to donate.
Thanks so much for reading,
~Dianna
